MD speaks with Origin Digital

Media Dojo spoke with Darcy Lorincz, CEO of Origin Digital about the back-end of online video for sporting events as well as the enterprise space. Calling itself a head end for enterprise video, Origin Digital is a hybrid company with both dedicated and cloud-based resources for rendering and distributing online video for both the web and mobile devices. One of its more recent experiences included managing the online video portion of the 2009 U.S. Open Tennis Tournament. Over a 2 week period, Origin helped stream live online video from over 150 matches to over 13 million viewers who spent an average of two hours and forty-five minutes engaged with the various matches.
